400 years the prophets were silent \u2013<\/em><\/p>\n

yet there was, and is, and is to come,<\/em><\/p>\n

hope \u2013 <\/em><\/p>\n

Where is hope found?<\/em><\/p>\n

In the dark before the dawn.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is hope?<\/em><\/p>\n

It is the foundation for faith,<\/p>\n

the occasion for love.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How does hope work?<\/em><\/p>\n

Like a woman bearing a child.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What does hope do?<\/em><\/p>\n

It conquers idolatry.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What does hope say?<\/em><\/p>\n

We are growing old to be young forever.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Is hope forever?<\/em><\/p>\n

No, it has its end.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How does it end?<\/em><\/p>\n

In the consumption of love.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is love?<\/em><\/p>\n

The already in the not yet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How long must hope wait?<\/em><\/p>\n

Until the anchor is lifted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When is the anchor lifted?<\/em><\/p>\n

In returning home.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When is this returning?<\/em><\/p>\n

Now and<\/em> then.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is the symbol of hope?<\/em><\/p>\n

The Child.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is The Child?<\/em><\/p>\n

A Light proceeding into the world.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How does it proceed?<\/em><\/p>\n

As The Word in the beginning.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What is the beginning?<\/em><\/p>\n

Hope.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

400 years the prophets were silent \u2013 <\/em><\/p>\n

Then our fear unto loneliness, <\/em><\/p>\n

pain unto brokenness, <\/em><\/p>\n

bitterness unto anger,<\/em><\/p>\n

sickness unto death,<\/em><\/p>\n

anxiety unto fear…<\/em><\/p>\n

Then <\/em>HOPE:<\/em><\/p>\n

The undoing of darkness \u2013 <\/em><\/p>\n
